Experience
I started climbing with my college course. I was studying a BTEC National Diploma in Outdoor Education. As part of the course I went Climbing, kayaking, surfing, hill walking, mountain biking and skiing. I excelled in the surfing and climbing so I pursued those activities for further experience. I really enjoy going climbing with all my new mates up here in Scotland.
Being from Devon the only real climbing is sea cliff climbing. One of the best climbs I have done is called ‘Kinky Boots’ on Baggy Point in Devon. I have been nick named the local ‘surfer boy’ as I really enjoy hitting the waves as well.
As I moved up here it opened my eyes, there is so much to do in Scotland. I have already done a massive amount of climbing and scrambles. I have also been up the Ben via Tower Ridge which was my best day up here!
