Trail and TGO Magazines both rate this waterproof shell jacket very highly, and we agree. Montane have re-vamped last year's design, and in doing so created a jacket perfectly suited to UK mountain conditions. 3 layer eVENT fabric all round, tough re-inforcements on shoulders, back and sleeves, a brilliant hood design with wired peak and full adjustment, side venting slots, four large pockets, reflective strips - this jacket has it all, but maintains a low weight of 590 grams (medium). Unbeatable!

Millet K Expert
A shell jacket of the highest oreder, built for mountaineering and climbing. The new Gore-tex PRO Shell 3 layer fabric feels excellent - light and supple, but very tough, and obviously more breathable than XCR. The K jacket has had some design tweaks too - an improved hood, and much needed extra length over the old model - well done Millet!, it's now a winner. The main zip is waterproof, as are the pit-zips and pockets. Shoulders are re-inforced with Kevlar, there are stretch panels around the arms for greater freedom of movement, the hood fits very well, it swivels with the head and It's adjustment toggles are tethered. All in all, a bombproof winter climbing jacket - one that will withstand many years of scraping around on rock and ice.
